“ Bartenders and tequila options were great. Server was great. Order was not served how I ordered it. Fajitas not smoking with double rice no beans. Simple. Not like I got crazy with the order. I got smoking plate and beans. Oh well. Food was good. Chicken was better than the steak. Steak was flavorful just needed a better cut. Overall a good experience and good food. ”
“ Great for happy hour but the salsa with the chips and salsa needs a lot of work. The food was ok but there is better in the desert. The sauce over the enchiladas was far too sweet. Our server Miguel was awesome though! ”

“ We stopped for lunch while we were in Palm Desert on Sunday and it was wonderful. The ambiance was positive and when we lived in the area this was one of our regular spots for good Mexican food. Tito was our server and was fantastic. My wife ordered the chicken enchilada entree with green sauce and I had the tropical chicken fajitas. We did not have margaritas as we had a long drive ahead so opted for soft drinks. We sure miss this place and it was wonderful. Highly recommended ”

“ This is a small unassuming restaurant but with excellent food! Very casual and family friendly. I make it a point to come for dinner every time we're out in Palm Desert. Being Mexican, I can be picky about Mexican food. However, I have to say Pueblo Viejo Grill's food is consistently authentic. My favorite is the hard shell chicken taco combination plate. The taco is excellent and the rice and beans taste just like my mom's cooking. The chips and salsa are great. Though they have a full bar (with televisions to watch sports) give never had a drink, but the Margaritas look fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a casual lunch or dinner spot with excellent Mexican food. ”
“ Mom and I went for the first time on a Sunday at 4:30 here in palm desert and they were really busy! We were shocked how busy they were , the chips were home made, the salsa was delicious, the service was excellent, and we enjoyed the chili relleno. The only thing we didn't love was the flan and maybe the chicken taquitos that were fried a little too crisp. But over all the five stars was for being so pleasantly surprised at our new find. Also they had fresh fruit margaritas which were so good but they don't put much alcohol in them. The outside looks like fast food so we never went in until I saw the inside on yelp. Give it a try.. ”

“ While in Palm Springs, we wanted to try Mexican food. The food was amazing, as was the service. The food was tasty and hot. Our server Arianna was amazing, attending to our needs. She was helpful and so kind we loved her. The dining area was just Ok, nothing to fancy. When in Palm Springs cone visit. You will rralkt enjoy it. ”
